"this course will give you clarity about ... taking control of your life"

CindiDawson

"Hi Christopher,

I just have to tell you this has been one of the most incredible journeys of my life.

I have enjoyed the Leadership Gift immensely. And I, too, am in the same position as you in starting out this journey thinking, 'Everybody else needs to get their responsibility act together.'

And it's amazing how after just a couple of insightful sessions you can realize, hey, they're not the problem. It's my response, and it's my responsibility to take that response seriously.

So I truly, truly have enjoyed all of the sessions. And I really wanted to thank you for putting this together, because I know it took some rearranging stuff to be able to move it from a corporate environment to an individual environment. And I truly appreciate that.

I will tell my friends that this course will give you clarity about what you are doing or not doing that is holding you back from taking control of your life.

"solving the real problem instead of wasting time . . ."

phillip-smith

"Christopher,

I have grown so much personally and as a leader. Mastery made a huge difference in helping me reduce personal and relationship overhead. I spend more time solving the real problem instead of wasting time going round and round with myself or others.

Now we identify what we want—instead of who did what to whom—and get on with it. It's a huge difference. I thought I knew what taking responsibility meant before, but this work has completely redefined my mental models."

". . .quicker identification of problems, more creative solutions, and greater collaboration..."

dianne_m

"Christopher,

Not to sound over the top, but there's literally my life before Responsibility Redefined™ and after Responsibility Redefined.

The effects show up in quicker identification of problems, more creative solutions, and greater collaboration in developing and executing them. This has enabled me to be much more effective in my human resources consulting practice while significantly increasing my enthusiasm and sense of aliveness.

I actually look forward to problems now because the process for resolving them with your Responsibility Redefined model is so energizing and engaging. It's not that I don't go through the blame, justification, shame, etc. mindsets; it's that I go through them a whole lot faster than I used to"

"I am much more agile as a leader . . ."

gary-gauthier

"Thank you Christopher,

This has definitely been a success. I can do what I am expected as a leader—which is to actually lead. As a leader I am expected to handle problems and stressful situations, and with the results from mentoring and Mastery I can.

In stress situations, when there is panic all around, I actually picture the Responsibility Process model in my mind and I can see what's happening. I see why this guy's blaming and that one's justifying, and other's are saying we have to do this or that.

Now I am much more agile as a leader because I can see what's happening instead of being mired in it. I can be larger than the problem and deal with it clearly. I am much more clear and feel free to take action.

It's a large difference. As large as can be."

"life changing information. . ."

bowman

"Dear Christopher.

I want to express my sincere gratitude for the life changing information you shared during my leadership meeting in Las Vegas.  I was impacted by the message of personal responsibility over 9 years ago when I attended your seminar in Texas.  I had high hopes for that same effect on my current leadership team.  I was not disappointed!

I took the time to talk to each of the members of my leadership team and asked their opinion on the material presented and the concepts that were taught in your seminar.  The responses were extremely positive and I had several who said that the information was life changing and that they would need to alter their current behavior to be able to live above the line.

The energy and commitment to live a life of personal responsibility that my leadership team came away with after your seminar was fantastic.  The great part about this is that I still see the same level of energy and commitment 2 weeks later.  Thank you so much for your message!"

"I'm a better leader. . ."

natosha

"I'm a better leader because I'm more clear all the time about what results I want no matter the challenges in the way. I'm resourceful about taking ownership and seeing the real problem when I'm not getting results. It comes from being more clear and being able to trust myself and my colleagues because of that clarity."

"changed my life..."

jjohnson_small

Dear Christopher,

I learned some important things from you that have changed my life.

I have known about the Responsibility Process™ for a few years now. My husband Ashley taught it to us a few years ago after studying with you. I knew the words and the ideas, but that changed after studying Responsibility Redefined™ with you.

I wanted to learn about it for myself. I need to understand it and use it in my own life and then I can teach it to others.

What I learned is that change can only come from within me. Many people will look at Responsibility and think of lots of other people who need this. But this is not something we can foist on someone else. Responsibility is something we must incorporate from within. Learning the strategies to get out of Denial, Blame, Justify, Shame and Obligation to Responsibility are so very important to our every day lives.

While I am incorporating this in my life, I am also teaching it to my children. Our family life is better. That is truly a blessing. Thank you so much Christopher!

Your message is so very important. Everyone should have a poster of the Responsibility Process™ where it can be seen everyday. I have one on my bathroom mirror. I have that constant reminder everyday—to come from Responsibility. When I am in another mental place, I have this visual reminder to help me get back to where I want to be.

Christopher- you are such a great teacher! Thank you so very much for your willingness to share your experiences and your knowledge.

Sincerely,

"in control of my life . . ."

m_puerta

"Dear Christopher,

Thank you for introducing me to this powerful concept of taking ownership of myself. With you I started to understand (and I reassured it later on) that “I do not own the stimulus I receive or the circumstances I live, but I do own my responses to them”. Over the last three years I've been studying Coaching and Change. The international programs I’ve taken in these fields have had a profound impact on me. However, all of them build on one thing I learned from you: The Responsibility Process™.

The most difficult thing is to accept that “I always produce my own results”, but once I admit it I feel more in control of my life. It’s not something magical or spontaneous; it requires hard work. I learned in a very practical and simple, but highly effective way, to see how to reinforce the Responsibility Process™ as a habit using the Keys to Responsibility™. Definitively “intention” is the “starting attitude”, “awareness” is the “entrance door” and “confront” is the “ignition turnkey” to continuously expand my possibilities in every aspect of my life.

Practicing responsibility has allowed me to have the highest position in my professional career and to successfully implement change initiatives in my company that never would have succeeded before. In my personal life I have established strong ties with my wife and kids so we have been able to effectively deal with difficult losses and chronic health problems.

And 2 years ago I started to exercise, taking responsibility for my health. Since then I have run at least 6 competitions and have lost 18 pounds. I am aware that practicing responsibility is a continuous process and that will never end, but I have found in your concepts a solid ground for functioning.

The Responsibility Process™ does not make my problems easier than they were before. Instead, it makes me expand my possibilities to handle them better. In that sense it doesn’t solve problems instantaneously, but it “solves” me. Do you understand what I mean? The Responsibility Process™ does not work on my problems, it works directly on me!

The first time we met I told you that many authors I had read insisted on “taking responsibility first” as the most important thing to execute effectively, but they never said how. You do and you do it greatly!

"energy, fervor, drive, and the will to approach my entire life differently . . ."

ACHeadShot_small

"Dear Christopher,

It's difficult for me to put into words what being a part of Responsibility Redefined has meant to my life. I can use phrases such as "life-changing" or "mind-altering" and "critical to my well-being" - they are true and accurate. But they do not do justice to what the process of learning "Responsibility Redefined" means to me.

As a successful educator, a "got a lot" baby-boomer, a long-time spouse, I was coasting toward retirement, vaguely dissatisfied with my life and work. Ultimately I was wondering, just as many of my friends and colleagues had voiced, "Is this all there is?" ... and then YOU came along! I first read your newsletters as part of my attempt to keep up to date with developments in my field of teaching and learning and something was distinctly different. Your discussions of character, team-building, and responsibility went beyond familiar platitudes to real "how-to's." I was intrigued, went to a day-long session to learn more, and followed this introduction to the Global Educators' Academy.

In the process, I discovered that I was not accepting responsibility for my life, my work, my relationships ... oh, I THOUGHT I was doing all that. I had it all figured out; everybody else in my world just wasn't living up to what they needed to do. None of it was my fault because I was doing the best I knew how; I just wasn't sure how I was going to get all those other folks in my life whipped into shape! When I acknowledged that indeed I was not living in a responsible way, and that I was living on some other islands in my mind (as you call them) that limited my power, it was as if someone had turned my world upside down. Then the spotlight showed clearly that my choices and my way of looking at the world were the limits that shaped my world.

You helped me develop insight about what it means to be free to choose, and powerful - responsible. That discovery gave me energy, fervor, drive, and the will to approach my entire life differently. Am I THERE yet? No, but I have each day the power and the ability to choose what I do and say. I have the insight to work between. And my colleagues have noticed; my boss has noticed; I approach life with a zest and gusto that matters to my work.

I am focusing my efforts now on my personal life, my interactions with spouse and family. The journey is fascinating and full of unexpected twists and turns. But because I know how powerful, and free I really am to choose a position of responsibility in all that I do, I am confident that I can make a difference for me.

Thank you,
